Here are some great ideas for hosting your teams Bowl Party this year. Keep in mind many bowl announcements don’t come until after the major colleges have completed their seasons. However you can still start formulating some party ideas.
As soon as you decide to host your party you will need some invitations to handout or send out. Using your own computer you can place the school logos on the cover of it. On the inside you can place the vitals such as time place and what is required if any.
Decorate your room. Set up a watching area first. You need a television with good a picture and sound. You don’t need to have the big screen as many people think. What is important is clarity of picture. Have your seating so that it is comfortable for your visitors. Try not to block anyones view of the television. You might want to think about setting your television up a bit. Not too high. People will hurt their necks by straining to watch. Don’t turn out all the lights either. Turn them down but not off. If you have pennants or school logos on furniture like lawn chairs set them up. Ask your friends if you can borrow some of their things just for your party. Take a large sheet of paper and use it as a table cloth to place your food on. Have your guests write their prediction with a final score on it. Then give out a prize to the visitor that comes the closes. You don’t need anything special. Maybe a school coffee mug with the school logo on it. Once the scores on written they can’t be changed.
Make out a brief trivia paper with about 20 questions. They can answer these during the halftime. Give the winners a liter of soda. Be sure you have the correct answers written down beforehand. For food you want finger food. People like to sit and eat. This is not a sit down dinner. Have paper plates plastic cups and napkins for your visitors. It doesn’t matter what type of finger foods but you do want tasty items. Things like chips crackers cheeses sausage, veggies dips wings pickles small cakes and cookies are great.
One item we always make is baby pizzas. Here is what you need to make these. A box of Velveeta cheese a pound of sausage baby rye bread slices and green olives. Brown your sausage and drain. Melt your cheese and mix it with the sausage and then chill till the cheese starts to harden. Take a knife and place the spread on each slice of bread and set them on a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove and put a sliced olive in the center of your bread on top of the of the cheese and sausage mixture.

What we learned from Saturday's college football action

 <modified>2008-09-25T01:38+00:00

1. You never experience what can happen in college football which sounds cliche but it's true. Five top 10 teams lost this weekend (including Friday). Florida. Oklahoma. West Virginia. Texas and Rutgers. And Cal and USC were literally one or two plays away from potentially joining that list. That's unreal. This is also why people love college football every week is a playoff game.2. Oklahoma proved to be what we always thought they were. An absolute pretender. You might remember last week for constantly scheduling cupcakes and then continually bitching about not being ranked as high as USC and LSU. So I can't even tell you how sweet it was to see Oklahoma fall to Colorado in crushing fashion on Saturday. Those 60 inform wins over Hobo St sure seem pretty hollow now eh Oklahoma? Ever since USC absolutely reamed Oklahoma in the 2004 National Championship game it's been my opinion that more times than not (excluding the 2005 VY Texas team of course) the Big 12 is truly a very weak conference - and Texas losing on Saturday as well kinda helps cement that opinion. But Oklahoma is the biggest whining piece of shit in that conference. Do yourself a favor next year Oklahoma plan some out of conference games against teams that didn't go 2-10 the previous year.3. The only team that can beat USC is USC. And let me tell you why. Quite simply there is no team in college that can go on the road act three turnovers have a punt blocked commit 16 penalties for 160+ yards and lose two great O-linemen - all against a decent opponent - and win. No one. LSU can't do that. Cal can't do that. Ohio State can't do that. USC played one of those games where they literally did everything they could to keep shooting themselves in the pay and still beat a decent Washington team. That is incredibly impressive. Of course if USC plays like they did on Saturday against LSU. Cal or Ohio St they'd be crushed. But the fact remains they did everything wrong on Saturday against Washington and still won. That's pretty remarkable. USC is the only team that can stop USC. And they almost did it on Saturday.4. Somebody needs to fire whoever's in charge of ABC Sports. You have a highly anticpated matchup between #6 Cal and #11 Oregon - one of the best games of the day - and you don't show it in HD?! Are you fucking kidding me?! I didn't go to a place with a 70-inch screen TV to watch this game in grainy regular TV. I'm not going to say this is east coast bias or something like that. No this was just a braindead decision by ABC Sports. I want someone's head on a lay on the line. That said though what an absolutely insane 2nd half to this game. Plus Cal's defense clearly running on fumes in the final 5 minutes of the game made 3 huge defensive plays to win it. Quite frankly though. Oregon should have won. They choked it away in a way too strange to even imagine. I don't know if either Cal or Oregon can beat USC but both teams get USC at domiciliate this year. Neither game is going to be easy for USC.5. Notre Dame isn't really on bring in. Purdue was about as active as a dead dog in the second half. The Irish are still going to start the season 0-8.6. Matt Flynn continues to be LSU's weak cerebrate. Against Tulane he goes 16/29 for 258 yards and 1 INT. He's also incapable of scrambling and making plays seeing as he got sacked 6 times - one of those for a safety. I'm not even sure LSU is going to get past Florida anymore despite Florida's loss to Auburn. I think Florida will come out angry against the Tigers. LSU is also starting to regress from its early season dominance. The simple fact is this. If LSU plays desire it has the last two weeks and people keep pressuring Flynn. LSU won't be playing in the national championship.7. The Big East is the most hilarious conference in America. You know who's tied for first in the conference standings right now? South Florida. UCONN and Syracuse. Syracuse?! Yes. Syracuse. It's also amazing that two teams in this conference with national call hopes. Louisville and West Virginia have already had those hopes crushed and it isn't even October. Man this conference SUCKS. Although I do desire South Florida but that's it. Every week this conference continues to show that it's full of chump teams that don't deserve a increase's chance in hell of playing in a national title game.8. The world is happy. Because Nick Satan lost again.9. Urban Meyer is a dick. Way to try that bullshit NFL timeout move on Auburn's kicker. What would undergo been better is if the kid missed the first kick then made the back up. Either way. I was pleased Auburn won especially after Meyer tried that stupid stunt.10. Wisconsin is the worst team in the top 10 whenever the new poll comes out. No question about this at all. They barely beat Michigan State at home and haven't played anyone good. They're like a slower less talented version of Oklahoma. They might remain undefeated until Ohio State. Then Ohio State ordain take them out to the woodshed and destroy them.11. Kentucky is better than you think. They're going to injure up the rankings this week and they deserve it. This team has quietly been playing great football and they have a chance to go real far this year. Of course the next three weeks will cause how far they go. In the next three games they face South Carolina. LSU and Florida. That's brutal although they get LSU and Florida at home. But they can win two of those games if they get luck on their side. And if they do win two of those three. Woodson should become the Heisman frontrunner and Kentucky has a chance at a BCS bowl.12. Someone needs to teach announcers and Scott Van Pelt how to say Oregon. It's not Ore-GONE. It's. Get it right assholes it's your job.-WCK

Covers.com: Set up for a letdown: Oregon Ducks

 <modified>2008-06-10T06:06+00:00

This isn’t just another Pac-10 game. Tell me when was the last measure ESPN’s College Gameday made the trip to Eugene. Oregon? And how desire has it been since serious national title talk about the Oregon Ducks made its way beyond the come down Mountains? Funny enough it was back in 2000 when Joey Harrington was the quarterback and … who was that guy calling the plays for the Ducks? Oh yeah. Jeff Tedford the current coach of the California Golden Bears and arch nemesis of Mike Bellotti. Any college coach will tell you that you can’t ask for exceed exposure than what Oregon and Cal will receive as the centerpiece of ESPN’s all-day coverage but there’s compel that comes with it too.
It’s not just because the entire country will be watching but also because of the implications of winning and losing. This bet is injected with the same kind of juice that fueled Michigan-Ohio State measure year and the winner ordain be set up to compete with USC for the Pac-10 enthrone and a realistic shot at the BCS title. The loser might as well start thinking about next year. So with all that on the lie. Autzen Stadium will be a pressure cooker on Saturday afternoon – and compel is not something that the Ducks who are 5-point favorites in the game have handled come up since Bellotti has been on his own at the Oregon helm. If you listened to the rumblings around Eugene over the measure few years you’d know that Tedford gets much of the credit for the Ducks’ success in those winning years and since his defection. Bellotti hasn’t been able to win the big games.
Oregon has had good teams but since Tedford left after 2001 the Ducks have not won a bowl game – and don’t evaluate that Bellotti isn’t painfully aware of that fact. The Oregonian ran a column this week in which columnist John Canzano shed some light on the cause that Tedford’s legacy at Oregon has had on Bellotti. The article claims the Ducks instruct feels slighted by the accolades and recognition given to Tedford and desperately wants some glory for himself. The situation. Canzano claims has driven Bellotti to thrust himself into the limelight at inopportune times often meddling with coordinators and play-calling much to the detriment of the team. “In case you've ever sat watching an Oregon football bet,” Canzano writes. “where the Ducks were winning and everything was working and suddenly. Bellotti inserted himself into the bet by calling a trick play or onside kicking or changing quarterbacks or doing something so strikingly absurd that you couldn't help sight him well maybe you understand now what that's all about.”
To be at the rosters the talent level is almost identical. Both teams are stacked with enough playmakers to run up the advance on any aggroup and weaknesses are few and far between. All of which indicates that this game could come drink to coaching. With the eyes of the college football world focused on Eugene things could very likely get personal for these two coaches especially on Bellotti’s end considering his purported complex regarding Tedford and his legacy. Expect this game to be a high-scoring affair with highlights galore. It should also be a close one but when the compel is on and the bet is on the line. I wouldn’t trust Bellotti to make the right decisions for his aggroup.
This bet is injected with the same kind of juice that fueled Michigan-Ohio State last year and the winner ordain be set up to compete with USC for the Pac-10 crown and a realistic shot at the BCS call. The loser might as come up go away thinking about next year. So with all that on the line. Autzen Stadium will be a compel cooker on Saturday afternoon – and compel is not something that the Ducks who are 5-point favorites in the bet undergo handled well since Bellotti has been on his own at the Oregon helm. If you listened to the rumblings around Eugene over the last few years you’d know that Tedford gets much of the credit for the Ducks’ success in those winning years and since his defection. Bellotti hasn’t been able to win the big games.
Oregon has had good teams but since Tedford left after 2001 the Ducks have not won a bowl game – and don’t think that Bellotti isn’t painfully aware of that fact. Canzano claims has driven Bellotti to force himself into the limelight at inopportune times often meddling with coordinators and play-calling much to the detriment of the aggroup. “In case you've ever sat watching an Oregon football game,” Canzano writes. “where the Ducks were winning and everything was working and suddenly. Bellotti inserted himself into the bet by calling a trick compete or onside kicking or changing quarterbacks or doing something so strikingly absurd that you couldn't help notice him well maybe you understand now what that's all about.”
To look at the rosters the talent aim is almost identical. Both teams are stacked with enough playmakers to run up the score on any team and weaknesses are few and far between. All of which indicates that this bet could go down to coaching. With the eyes of the college football world focused on Eugene things could very likely get personal for these two coaches especially on Bellotti’s end considering his purported complex regarding Tedford and his legacy. evaluate this game to be a high-scoring affair with highlights galore. It should also be a close one but when the pressure is on and the bet is on the lie. I wouldn’t believe Bellotti to alter the right decisions for his aggroup.
This isn’t just another Pac-10 bet. express me when was the measure time ESPN’s College Gameday made the trip to Eugene. Oregon? And how desire has it been since serious national call talk about the Oregon Ducks made its way beyond the come down Mountains? Funny enough it was back in 2000 when Joey Harrington was the quarterback and … who was that guy calling the plays for the Ducks? Oh yeah. Jeff Tedford the current coach of the California Golden Bears and bend nemesis of Mike Bellotti.
Eight More Games To Go

 <modified>2007-12-30T19:54+00:00

Guest post from Bruin Blue. Again it is always good to get this perspective from desire suffering UCLA alums who are sick and tired of constant let downs and mediocrity from underachieving UCLA football program. GO BRUINS. -NI am not looking forward to the rest of this season. It's not going to be pretty whatever happens. In my mind there is no way that Karl Dorrell is going to go quietly in any sense of the evince. His team has enough talent; and there are enough beatable teams left on the schedule for him to alter a real bid to keep his job. This isn't Ohio State or Alabama; we don't fire coaches who go 9-3. So this is not going to be a lame-duck toughen for Dorrell by any means despite the absolutely woeful loss to Utah. As it was with his instruct. Terry Donahue. UCLA "bounces back" from losses because the talent is exceed than the coaching. Their teams sort of plod along from game to bet and sometimes they compete well sometimes they don't. There is usually no real improvement or learning turn; and they don't helpfully implode desire you sometimes see come about at better programs where the disappointment of early losses is so great that all sorts of pressure and internal strife sets in. I'm not rooting for the aggroup to lose; but it wouldn't upset me too much. I experience that the future of UCLA football is pretty bleak as long as Dorrell hangs around. I can't see us winning more than six games next year if we're lucky. So why should it arouse me if we somehow manage to press out 9-3 with the plan so much in our favor and a talent edge on most Pac-10 teams? Can Dorrell get to 9-3 and save his job? I think it's certainly possible. IF UCLA can win at Oregon State. That is the key bet in Dorrell's go. If he loses that one then he'd have to run the table going into the USC game to get his nine wins. If we lose at Corvallis. I could see a six- or seven-win season. But since I'm very familiar with bad UCLA coaches hanging on and saving their jobs way past the measure that they should have lost them. I'm expecting a win up there. Then we beat the Irish and we're 5-1. And the L. A media so loath to criticize Dorrell would certainly be beat of "redemption" stories about how well we have done since Utah. And you know that Dorrell is going to scratch and make for this job. I am convinced that he actually thinks that he has done a great job here change surface this year. I am also convinced that he would play the race separate if necessary. That's why it's so important that if we don't have the.
The Wrapup - Week 5

 <modified>2007-12-15T14:32+00:00

Think about it. We saw the Nos. 3. 4. 5. 7 and 10 teams go drink and three of them came at domiciliate in which all were at least two touchdown favorites (No. 4 Florida. No. 7 Texas and No. 10 Rutgers) and one road team (No. 3 Oklahoma) was a 23 inform favorite.
So what did all the madness from Saturday teach us. A number of things. The first off being college football is unpredictable. For the most part.
That vaunted Rutgers defense that so many people have praised claiming its the beat in the Big East did not live up to the hype Saturday getting outplayed by the Terps to the tune of 239 yards on the fasten. A Top 10 team doesn't give up nearly 240 yards on the ground at home to a aggroup it's better than on cover. But then again. Rutgers is better of paper because their bring in preserve this year comes against the likes of Buffalo. Navy and Norfolk State before the Terps. The Scarlet Knights easy plan fooled people into thinking they were Top 10 material.
How desperately does Florida be Tim Tebow to be on top of his game in request to win against LSU next weekend? That's not some earth-shattering revelation but Tebow did not move in his beat game of the toughen and the Gators suffered their first home loss under Urban Meyer. Auburn actually out-gained Florida and defensively the Tigers kept Florida's big compete capabilities under wraps. Chances are next pass LSU should be able to do the same considering oh they only have the beat defense in the country. Florida has a must win game against the beat team in the nation. Talk about a big evaluate for a young team.
Oklahoma's defense was exposed today allowing Colorado to rack up yards on the ground. And while I accept they were robbed by a bogus reproduce reversal late in the fourth quarter the fact of the matter is the Sooners defense didn't alter stops in their first close game of the toughen - they were averaging 60-plus points per game heading into this bet and literally clobbering opponents on their way to a 4-0 record. But the offense sputtered. Sam Bradford came drink to earth and Bob Stoops suffered a tough September blackball on the road for the second straight year.
And as for the Longhorns? They're just not that good and probably are just a soft team. When you nearly lose to Arkansas express and UCF - teams should absolutely rip apart - something has to be wrong and I think it starts with the defense. They're just not a tough defense and when you're not a tough defense and you're play turns the roll over the way Colt McCoy has the past several weeks eventually it's going to get you. It did Saturday. Big win for Kansas State and a very good man in Ron Prince.
The other Top 10 teams obviously won. USC had a tough time against Washington while LSU cruised against Tulane. Cal was the big winner of the day with its first road victory in Eugene in 20 years and Ohio State and Wisconsin got wins - although the Badgers be anything but the Big Ten favorites I though they'd be heading into the season.
But those five all won and survived and a lot of teams didn't Saturday. Clemson suffered its first defeat and so did Oregon. But as we open out last year one loss isn't going to totally kill your national title hopes. We've only got a handful of top-ranked teams that are still undefeated and two pairs will play each other drink the road (USC-Cal and Wisconsin-Ohio express) while LSU hosts Florida next pass in an elimination game for the Gators. For certain we have an elimination game next weekend between Oklahoma and Texas. And who would have thought that heading into this weekend?
-- Why did Cal win its big game against Oregon? A big reason was DeSean Jackson. The feature wide out has been held in analyse early this toughen because of a thumb injury but he seemingly put that behind him as he caught 11 balls for 161 yards and 2 TDs as Oregon seemed content to let Nate Longshore throw his way all day long - how they could allow that is beyond anyone. Oregon let Jackson accumulate more receiving yards Saturday than he did through the Bears first four games.
East Coast fans really missed out Saturday when ABC/ESPN regionalized its slate of 3:30 games meaning they did not see Cal-Oregon. Instead they were subjected to Maryland-Rutgers and Michigan State-Wisconsin. I anticipate that's the determine they pay for Rutgers being good. The only problem was the Scarlet Knights were bad Saturday and the East glide missed a great end between the Ducks and Bears that went drink to the final compete.
-- USC did not win pretty and they're probably going to lose some first place votes in Sunday's AP poll. The Trojans have been shaky in some of its road ventures the past few years the biggest example being the Oregon express game last season. But the Trojans defeat a game Washington team mostly with their defense allowing just 190 total yards of offense.
Another thing to act an eye on with the Trojans: they had 16 penalties for 161 yards. Surprising for a Pete Carroll team. Those are astronomical numbers. Hel can't be happy about that.
Penalties are something Urban Meyer has railed about this toughen with his young aggroup and they only added to their season be Saturday with another seven. Then again it was three below their average. But Florida is a very young team you'd expect more mistakes from them compared to the veteran Trojans.
-- Did Florida State ever be that win over Alabama? Good for Bobby Bowden who finally got to defeat his favorite aggroup growing up. Maybe the Seminoles undergo found a quarterback in Xavier Lee. Florida State actually moved the ball somewhat against the color Tide. There really were some encouraging signs from the Seminoles. You'd have to evaluate that Jimbo Fisher will go with Lee for next pass's game against North Carolina. They're not going to officially announced until Monday. But come on? It's going to be Lee.
-- Penn express? Officially exposed as an overrated Big Ten aggroup that had no business being in the Top 10. The talk two weeks ago about the Nittany Lions being a national championship/Big Ten contender was comical to me. Anthony Morelli has always had consistency problems and basing their "greatness" on the teams they played in the first three weeks - FIU. Notre Dame and Buffalo - was nothing shot of comical. For the second stragiht year the Nittany Lions be like they're going to fall short of their lofty expectations. I experience it's comfort early - we're not change surface in October yet - but looks like Penn express is nothing but an afterthought.
-- UConn is now 5-0 because the Huskies have played absolutely nobody. I wish UConn fans aren't getting their hopes up too high with this team. It's going to come crashing down very soon. After a week off. UConn takes on Louisville. USF. Rutgers and Cincinnati four straight weekends. Randy Edsall has helped himself with this abstain start removing a little bit of the heat that's been placed on him. But just look at who they've beaten to get to this point: Duke. Maine. Temple. Pittsburgh and now Akron. UConn is only one win away from bowl eligibility amazingly but the way the year ends they might not make it.
Same broach with Purdue. They're probably going to end through into the AP Top 25 after their win over Notre Dame but let's take a step approve and be at who the Boilermakers have beaten: Toledo. Eastern Illinois. Central Michigan. Minnesota and now the Irish. Purdue has Ohio State next weekend. Let's see them advance 30-plus points against the Buckeyes.
-- And quickly.
NCAA Football Week 5 Preview

Well it's a good thing Georgia Tech went and showed how do by I was by losing to Virginia. Oh come up. I guess that just makes Boston College the clear favorite now. Though the rest of the conference seems doomed to peck at each other and press BC's BCS score. I'm sure the aggroup will be perfectly authorise with it as long as they get their first post-O'Brien conference championship. Virginia Tech. Miami. Rutgers. Virginia and BC should not have a terrible ton of difficulty.. well maybe Miami will because they haven't dominated Duke desire in years past and Duke's offense looked pretty spiffy this past pass. Georgia Tech will welcome Clemson to town and hope desire heck that Tashard Choice can find some running room within an incredibly quick Tigers defense. Florida express stays at home to play Alabama and I think I desire Bobby Bowden's odds of not adding to his win be. Unless cut Saban decides to quit as instruct this week. You really never experience with that guy. Lastly. Louisville hopes to end their freefall which in theory ordain be easy considering their offense and NC express's defense. Then again. Tom O'Brien is a good coach. NC express isn't a horrible aggroup and we didn't evaluate Louisville to be 2-2 right now either. WInners: Duke. NC State. Alabama. Clemson. That's right the mighty will continue to fall this week. Also these games will be incredibly dull without any upsets.
West Virginia's first true evaluate comes Friday night when the fifth ranked Mountaineers travel to Tampa to meet No. 18 South Florida in the conference opener for both teams. measure year. Pat color and Steve Slaton were shut down by the Bulls defense combining for just 60 yards and three turnovers. They'll need a stronger performance this time if they wish to stay in the BCS title game discussion. Expect to see Slaton end out this week in what will one of the most exciting games in the conference all season. I like the Mountaineers 45-35. Quick notes UConn should command Akron this weekend which means the Huskies ordain continue to Virginia next week with a chance to become bowl eligible. It's not all that often you see a 37 inform favorite suffer but that exactly what Louisville did measure week against Syracuse. At this point the Cardinals might be the most disappointing aggroup in college football counting Michigan. No. 24 Cincinnati will be 5-0 when it heads to Piscataway next pass for a date with tenth ranked Rutgers.
Inside the Penn express locker room measure Friday: Coach Joe Paterno: So how are we going to defeat Michigan on offense? Is there anything they undergo trouble with?Offensive Coordinator Galen Hall: Hmm.. let's see.. they lost those two games but we aren't really sure why... Voice of Reason: It was the spread offense you fools! They have no lateral go on defense so if you can be them laterally they're doomed!Hall: Oh. I just noticed something in my notes about a "spread" offense... Paterno: come up is that something we're capable of running?Hall: [Looks at his roster sees Jordan Norwood. Deion Butler. Derrick Williams. Justin King and Andrew Quarless basically the fastest and most agile group of runners in the conference] No. I really think that kind of outside-the-box planning is a bit beyond our means. Paterno: Okay. I guess we'll just have to run Austin Scott on first down every hit time and commune he doesn't look for. Morons. Penn State ran the ball exactly one time with that assort of speedsters and then turned around and couldn't stop Mike Hart even though Hart carried the ball on 53 percent of Michigan's offensive plays. They exceed evaluate out how to game plan an offense quick.. fast.. in a go or they're going to cater an ugly end against a fast-improving Illinois squad. Ohio State ordain get to continue north and apply the fruits of Minnesota's lack of defense (and considering the 58-7 whipping they gave Northwestern this one could get ugly abstain). Purdue ordain acquire a similar opportunity against an equally bad Notre Dame aggroup now 0-4 for the first time ever. Hard to say which aggroup ordain be undefeated between Michigan State and Wisconsin. I gave Wisconsin's offense the benefit of the disbelieve measure week and they proved me wrong so I'll go Spartan (translation: commando) this weekend. Same with Michigan and Northwestern. Shootout? Field Goal-o-Rama? Depends on which offense shows up first. Winners: Penn express. Ohio State. Michigan and Wisconsin. So I can put my boxers back on.
Lost in Mike Gundy's tirade was one by Mike Leach in the other media dwell. His led to Texas Tech's defensive coordinator "stepping down." Needless to say. Texas Tech likely won't undergo the same issues with Northwestern express this week. But measure week they did and so I enter this week 3-3.
Oklahoma (-22.5) at Colorado - Colorado may not be the favorite but they have one advantage — their ties to Boise State. continue coach Dan Hawkins may have been watching Boise cozen their way past Oklahoma on television but he was a big reason for the Bronco win. I don't evaluate Colorado can defeat the juggernaut from Norman this week but 23 points seems a little over the top no matter what the recent history of these two teams. Oklahoma wins but Colorado and the points are the winners here.
Kansas express (+14.5) at Texas - It looks desire the Texas team that we thought we would have this toughen is back. But then again their comeback came against Rice. Kansas express's issue in this one is that Texas's defense ordain be tough up the middle much desire Auburn was against them in their first bet. Not being able to go away the running game will not bode well for them. Texas gets well at just the alter time. Longhorns win and cover.
Bonus: Oklahoma State hasn't stopped anyone on defense so far this season. Ex-Oklahoma play Rhett Bomar returns to town this week with Sam Houston. Look for Bomar to alter a difference in this one. Don't ascertain out an upset in Stillwater.
Hey bequeath what I said about Tulsa possibly upsetting Oklahoma? Yeah. They remain the strongest team in the CUSA West change surface though Houston technically leads the division with a conference win over lowly Tulane. The Golden Hurricane look to win their first conference game when they entertain a pretty bad UAB aggroup.
Houston hosts an enigmatic East Carolina squad. I can't figure out ECU. change losses to Virginia Tech and Southern desire don't make them horrible yet a win over UNC makes them respectable and a 48-7 thumping by the hands of West Virginia just means that they're not No. 5 in the nation. And since ECU's instruct. drop Holtz is son of former Notre Dame coach and current ESPN talking continue Lou Holtz this can only mean that in 80 years the skeleton of drop Holtz ordain lovingly slurp all over the struggling ECU team through the hologramovision.
In the East. UCF is looking like an incredibly dangerous aggroup. They poured 56 points on Memphis desire touchdowns were friggin' grill act. UL-Lafayette should be no threat to them whatsoever. But they rumble with Southern Miss on October 28 which is shaping up to be the division's most pivotal bet. Unfortunately it's played on a Sunday night and although NBC asserts that Sunday night is football night. I evaluate they mean pro football.
You go drink 0-3 without an offensive touchdown to your name you're not even thinking about winning a bet you're thinking about getting that first offensive touchdown. Saturday against Michigan State. Notre Dame did just that - got the touchdown two of them as a be of fact. Now it's time for a win as the Irish.
