: "Season that includes win at Michigan needs win in Chattanooga. The story Corey Lynch enjoys most happened during the Major League Baseball playoffs in Ohio State-obsessed Cleveland just weeks after Appalachian State had opened the college football season with its now-famous upset of Michigan."
: "Appalachian State University's memorable defeat of the Wolverines helped define the country's sporting landscape this year."

: "The Mitchell report gives a general road map for improving baseball's drug testing but prescribes no timetable and few specific orders." Isn't it odd that as soon as King Roger gets named everyone wants to start doubting the validity of the report. We heard an ESPN commentator say this: "The very fact that Clemons and his legal team undergo vehemently denied these allegations must raise doubts as to the findings." Really.... When Mike Vick said "These allegations are false and I look forward to clearing my good name" did that raise doubts as to the feds inspect against him? When Bonds allegedly said "I have never knowingly taken steroids"... and has publicly said "I have never failed a test" did that raise doubts as to truth of the allegations lodged against him? Not so sure why the media rushes to the side of "mercy patience and letting time tell us the truth" with Clemons but takes out the pipes and blow torches on Bonds and Vick. Won't time reveal the complete truth on all such matters. Don't agree? Take it to the comments section.• • •
Thomas Boswell: -"Roger Clemens joins Barry Bonds in the slow burn that lasts a lifetime and then after death lingers as long as the game is played."
: "Barry Bonds and his supporters often pointed to the fact that the home run king never flunked a drug evaluate administered by Major League Baseball. The Mitchell Report suggests why: it appears Bonds received advanced warning of two tests in 2003." Interesting.. interesting...
: "ESPN experiment to have 24/7 coverage from Charlotte. Lights camera. Bobcats. When the boss says ESPN gets all-access then ESPN gets all-access. That means television radio and the Internet. It means shaking up the normal routine of a home game day. It also means national exposure like the Charlotte Bobcats have never experienced." Sounds cool.
: Arkansas ain't Michigan. If this is true and they make him the offer and he decides to go you really can't be mad at him despite his professions of love for the players at Wake. Michigan is Michigan. Here's hoping he stays in the ACC!!!
:"Wake Forest can move a step closer to its first national championship in men's soccer today if it can get past a hot Virginia Tech team in the NCAA College Cup semifinals in Cary. Second-seeded Wake Forest the highest seeded team left among the final four will compete No. 11 Virginia Tech at 5 p m in the first of two games at the SAS Soccer Complex. Unseeded Massachusetts will play No. 5 Ohio State the Big Ten back in the second game at 7 p m. and the winners will meet at 3 p m. Sunday."
: "David Cutcliffe and Karl Dorrell have emerged as the top two candidates in that request as Duke’s search for its next football coach begins to show signs of winding down."
: "Duke junior Martynas Pocius has been dealt another tough break but Pocius is determined to view it as a potential big break."[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
